Attached to this page, teachers can find a rubric for measuring student achievement throughout this project. This rubric is also posted on the student evaluation page and outlines what is expected of students and what the final outcome of the project should be.
The topics evaluated in the rubric are collaboration, productivity, creativity, resources, and historical accuracy. Seeing as it is a group project, collaboration has to be grades. The project is a project-based assessment so creativity plays a role in the grade. And seeing as it is history, the use of historical accuracy and using enough source (and citing them in APA) also will be evaluated.
In addition, there is also a rubric for the student's paper. The paper will be grade on length, grammar, and historical accuracy. In addition, the rubric will look at the student's individual grade (versus group grade) as a whole. This will be done by evaluating individuals on their effort and participation. This number grade is based off of peer evaluations.
